Welcome to Nemera Bengals!

Female BST Kitten - under evaluation - 3 days old - 05/06/13
Nemera Bengals is a small cattery located in Westport, Washington, USA. Our name, "Nemera," comes from the Hebrew language and means "leopard.” We chose this name because Bengals look like little leopards! Don't you think so, too?
All kittens are raised in home and underfoot with lots of good socialization! We have several pets in their home that help teach the kittens how to live comfortably with other cats (whole male, neutered males, and whole females) and dogs. We have a chocolate and tan standard Dachshund who just loves playing with kittens. He is so gentle with them and he lets them play with his tail and chase him around the house! One of our neutered males "Uncle Gavyn" also loves to play with kittens!
Our kittens are litter trained and we work with them on nail clipping, baths, vet visits, being in a carrier and in the car, and wearing a harness. They also eat both raw and dry food so that they are adaptable to your home!
Our first litter was born on 9/24/12 and an incredible litter it was! The mommy was our F2 brown spotted Bengal queen, Leopardspride Shawnee of Nemera (Shawnee). She gave birth to a stunning litter of two all on her own! It was at that point, I knew for sure I had picked the perfect hobby for me!
We love having Bengals in our home because they are lively and energetic and very smart. They also very loving pets and really enjoy having attention from their families. They can be mischievous, but that usually gives us lots of laughs!
Someone once told us, the only way to end the sentence "All Bengals are _______!" is with the word DIFFERENT. We can’t agree more! No two Bengals are ever the same in looks or personality! Aren't they awesome breed?!
And guess what!!!
We want to bring a little touch of the wild into YOUR home! What do you think? You have plenty of time to decide. We will never try to talk you into adopting a kitten and will be happy to answer any questions you might have. We believe that the decision to adopt a pet is a major one and that you should know all the facts before making up your mind. You can also ask to be added to our waiting list for a particular breeding or a kitten in general! You must have an approved application on file to be added to the waiting list. Our application can be found on our "Available Kittens" page.
Please feel free to look through our site and find out more about our vision and our family! You can even learn more about the Bengal breed by clicking on the Bengals 101 tab in the menu bar. You can also read about our vision and our family by clicking the "more" button on the menu and selecting the appropriate page. See out past kittens on our "Testimonials" page.
Check back often to see if we have new kittens or adults available! Check our "Planned Litters" page to see upcoming breeding plans.
You can e-mail us by using our contact page on the menu bar. Or join us on Facebook! You must be logged in to Facebook to see our Facebook via the link at the top of the page. We will try to answer all e-mails within 24-48 hours, but sometimes we are very busy.
